Dr Timms returned to the UK to complete an advanced medical qualification, consequently achieving a Fellowship in Cosmetic and Micro-vascular Surgery.
Returning to Perth in March 2008, Dr Timms commenced his private practice while working at Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital (now known as Perth Children’s Hospital). Dr Timms is now the Head of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and his private practice involves operating at Hollywood Private Hospital, Mount Private Hospital, West Leederville Private Hospital and St John of God Hospital Subiaco.
